Relief JAPAN Project
11 March 2011 is a memorable day for Japan and for the world because many people witnessed huge tsunami to destroy numbers of towns in east Japan and to kill many people.
Photographers in US stand up for relieving Japan as TANTO TEMPO ask for artists/art people to help by Socio Arte program announced in the early morning on 12 March 2011, the next day of the earthquake. Osamu James Nakagawa, a photographer/associate professor of Indiana University was one of the artists to response to our program. James printed 50 prints of one image of his series of Kai to make sales for donation and 20 prints for Japanese market and 30 for US. He will bring another photographers to join to this program.
